HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE – The hair on Nick Apostol’s head is coming back now, dark and thick.

His energy level is coming back, too, well enough to get him through preseason football practices at East Central in the relentless heat. Followed by shifts as a waiter at the Greendale LaRosa’s restaurant.

On the 20^th of this month, he’ll add morning classes at Northern Kentucky University, where he’s a year away from his degree in middle grades education, specializing in science and social studies.
