L'burg man is charged with child molesting

Bond was set at $75,000 surety and $50,000 cash at an initial hearing Wednesday, July 18, for a Lawrenceburg man accused of child molesting, said a Dearborn County Prosecutor's spokesperson.

A pretrial hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4 for Carl Eugene Ascherman, 53, who faces two counts of attempted child molesting, a Class B Felony; Child Molesting, a Class C Felony; and possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, all Class A misdemeanors.
