\INDIANAPOLIS – To no one's surprise, the Indiana High School Athletic Association appears it will stand pat when it comes to the state's four-class basketball tournaments.

After sanctioning a series of 11 town meetings this spring – ostensibly to gauge public reaction toward a possible change in the system that has existed since 1997-98 – IHSAA released results of its survey Friday, July 6.

Bobby Cox, IHSAA commissioner, told The Indianapolis Star those results shots “a lack of compelling evidence” to alter the 14-year old class tournament.
