The Greendale Park Board has wasted no time in moving the city’s proposed new swimming pool onto the fast track.

Board members were quick to approve immediate asbestos testing at their meeting Tuesday, June 19, so demolition of the 62-year-old facility can begin the first week in August.

They also set up an inspection trip to visit two installations designed and overseen by their consultants Branstetter-Carroll and scheduled a meeting with designer Mike Carroll for Monday, July 9.
