LAWRENCEBURG – City of Lawrenceburg and Lawrenceburg Police Crime Stoppers program will offer a hunter education course Sunday, Sept. 9.

Indiana residents born after Dec. 31, 1986, and planning to hunt during the upcoming season are required to take a hunter education training course.

The course will run from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Lawrenceburg Fire Department training facility, 300 W. Tate St. Lunch will be provided for attendees.

Hunters planning to take the course are asked to pre-register to ensure that enough training materials are available.

The course will be limited to the first 30 to register. However, there will be a standby list in case of cancellations.

Call LPD at 537-2284 in order to register. Class is expected to fill up fast.
